    • I know you may find this ironic coming from a social media platform... However this is the reality of the world these days. We need “connection” to work and to be able to communicate to a greater mass. But we also need to learn to disconnect to be able to connect with ourselves and the ones closer to us. Our Sunday wish is that you put your devices away and pay attention to yourself or someone else. If you need a little help or choose to focus on yourself, enjoy our peaceful Mindful practice with @samanthadench today at 4:30pm and end your week with a clear mind. Namaste! 🙏🏽
    • Wednesday inspo right there! Our beautiful @sonia_s.a.s.s practicing in our #allegro2 . Absolutely love it! ♥️ Find this gorgeous ballerina at Kia Kaha Studios every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Bookings essential!
    • There are many studies that analyse the link between creating new habits and weight loss, health improvement and huge lifestyle changes. People that have shown the greatest results in life/business/health are the ones that have changed daily habits, little by little, focusing on one at a time. Small changes create a ripple and they will enable other benefits along the way. Why not booking yourself into a Pilates and/or Yoga class, every week, same days and same times to try to create a change in your life? We can tell you the many benefits this will bring to you! INTRODUCTION CLASS

Entry level class designed and suggested for those who have never done reformer pilates before. This class will spend the first 15 minutes showing you the reformer machine and method as well as the supporting equipment we will often use in class. We will teach you to focus on the right muscle groups through fundamental movements to ensure you make the best out of the following levels. The remaining 35 minutes will work on  cementing the foundations while practicing and exercising.

    BEGINNER (MIND)

A level designed to those who have had little to some Reformer Pilates experience in the past. This class is suitable for those that are just beginning their Pilates exercise routine, want to work a bit slower and focus on control and technique, or are working on building the strength to move up to intermediate. We will work on fundamental techniques by going through basic flows to help you solidify your movements while getting a good burn on your muscles. Here you need to get your mind to connect with your body. We recommend that you continue doing beginner classes until you are comfortable with the reformer, feel that your body awareness is good and also are starting to take intermediate springs. We advise 4-6 beginner classes before you move, but consult your trainer for an assessment.

    INTERMEDIATE (BODY)

A perfect step to take when you are feeling confident and have built on the skills learnt in the Beginner level. These classes are higher in intensity and have continuous flow with harder options. In this level, your strength, balance and core stability will be challenged and tested. Before you move to Advanced, we recommend that you become comfortable with our terminology and feel that you know the majority of our movements. We advise 10-15 intermediate classes before you move, but consult your trainer for an assessment.

    ADVANCED (HEART)

A class for those who have substantial experience in the Reformer Pilates method, a high level of fitness and great understanding of the Kia Kaha Way. This level is for the ones with reformer pilates settled in their hearts as we will push you to your limits. With complex sequences that will challenge your body and mind, you will need to have the Kia Kaha mantra to push through. The flow is faster, the exercises are harder and your body will burn.

    MINDFUL 23°C

Suitable for beginners, a calm, slow paced class that works on gentle movements, stretches, and mindfulness. This session is all about you and how you feel that day, exercising the ligaments and creating space around the joints. Moving and nourishing your body in a way that relieves the mind and help cultivate awareness and reflection. This class is floor based and will help you wind down and de-stress. Perfect complement to our other Yoga classes that have a more dynamic flow. Influence: restorative, meditation and Yin.

    HAVE & HOLD 28-30°C

Suitable for beginners, a practice that will work on long held poses, facilitating deep muscular release while quieting the mind and prolonging your breathing. This is a yoga blend class, bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses (Yin) with more dynamic sequences and standing postures (Vinyasa). Leave this class stronger both physically and mentally – but strive for tranquillity. Influence: Yin Yang, Vinyasa.

    DETOX 26°C

This class offers more movement and flow in a more medium pace, allowing you to connect your breath to your movement followed by a 15 minutes guided meditation session. A perfect combination of body and mind work! This practice will work your core, strength, flexibility and mindfulness delivering a well-rounded practice. Great class to focus on alignment and work on continuous flows. Influence: Vinyasa and meditation.

    DYNAMIC FLOW 28-30°C

A practice to re-energise and challenge your body. This class will explore more intermediate postures. Use your breath as an anchor to help you move from one pose to another. Discover your full potential while respecting your body capabilities. This session will give you an opportunity to work towards peak poses and build on your physical strength and endurance. This class is only recommended for those with a regular Vinyasa practice schedule. Influence: Vinyasa.
